Join us for a deep dive into how the principles of EDI can be applied in Energy Research at our event "EDI in Energy Research: From Theory into Practice.
Discover how equality, diversity, and inclusion can move from theory into everyday practice across energy research. This one-day interactive event brings together students, early-career researchers and those more advanced in their careers to connect and learn about applying EDI in real-world situations.
What to Expect
- Conversation stations exploring themes such as allyship, power and privilege, women in science, disability inclusion, LGBTQ+ representation, and neurodiversity in STEM led by EDI+ and IGNITE projects.
- Panel discussion and Q&A: Building Inclusive Research Cultures featuring diverse voices sharing experiences and practical insights.
- Networking and mentoring opportunities designed to spark collaboration and strengthen inclusive research communities.
Co-hosted by UKERC, Supergen Energy Networks, EDI+, and IGNITE. This event is open to all, from early-career researchers to established professionals committed to fostering inclusive and equitable research environments.
