Dr Fabio Fasoli (University of Surrey) and Dr Marco Reggiani (University of Strathclyde)
The “Enhancing Inclusion” project is currently looking for participants to complete a short online survey aimed at understanding the inclusive practices for LGBTQ+ individuals in Higher Education institutions.
We are particularly interested in learning about the policies, activities, and goals at your university that support LGBTQ+ inclusion. Gathering this information will help us gain a better understanding of the current landscape in the UK and identify areas where good practices can be further developed or strengthened.
The online study will take 10 minutes and can be accessed here https://surreyfahs.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9TR3bV7Uvf9wQ18
Inclusion criteria: Participants are employees of UK Higher Education EDI teams.
The survey is anonymous, and we will not collect the name of your university in the survey. The study has received a favourable opinion from the University of Surrey Ethics Committee [ERM ID 838]
If you are not a member of an EDI team yourself, we would be very grateful if you could forward this invitation to the relevant colleagues at your institution. Thank you for your support in helping us build more inclusive research and learning environments.
The study is part of a project titled ‘Enhancing Inclusion: Evaluating, Co-Creating, and Implementing Effective Practices to Address Barriers for LGBTQ+ Researchers in STEM and Energy’ conducted by Dr Fabio Fasoli (University of Surrey) and Dr Marco Reggiani (University of Strathclyde), funded by the IGNITE Network+.
Please contact Dr Fasoli (f.fasoli@surrey.ac.uk) if you have any questions.
